Registrations received after 6:00pm (MST) Friday, April 25th 2008 will be held and processed on-site. On-site registration fees will be applied.

*Students must produce a current id card from their educational institution when picking up their registration package.
All Convention registrations must be received in Canadian Funds. We accept payments in Canadian funds drawn from a Canadian Bank and money orders in Canadian funds. Full payment must accompany all registration forms. Any registration/payment not adhering to these guidelines will be returned to sender/issuer with no registration made on their behalf.
Confirmation of registration will be issued via email. Confirmations will include Field Trip and/or Short Course bookings, as well as any special events you have requested to attend. The 2008 Convention Organizing Committee will not re-issue confirmations if the email does not reach the intended delegate. Some companies have firewalls in place that make our confirmations impossible to be forwarded.
The 2008 Convention Organizing Committee is not responsible for email addresses that are not legible or are supplied incorrectly. To ensure you receive an email confirmation of your registration, please write your email address clearly.
Please Note: Your confirmation is not an official receipt. Receipts will be issued when you claim your delegate package.
General Registration Information
- Only Convention Delegates will be able to register and participate in Filed Trips and Short Courses
- The Icebreaker Reception is included with Full Delegate Registration as well as Exhibitor Registration.
- The Core Meltdown is NOT included in Exhibitor Booth Personnel Registration or Guest Passes.
On-site Registration Hours
- Monday, May 12 – 7:30am to 4:00pm
- Tuesday, May 13 – 7:30am to 4:00pm
- Wednesday, May 14 – 7:30am to 12:00pm
- Wednesday, May 14 – 12 to 3:30pm at the ERCB Core Research Centre
- Thursday, May 15 – 8:00am to 3:30pm at the ERCB Core Research Centre ONLY

Advance Registration Package Pick-up
- Delegates who register on or before Friday, April 25th, may pick up their registration packages during the following times:
Wednesday, May 7: 11:30am – 3:30pm
Thursday, May 8: 11:30am – 3:30pm
LOCATION: CSPG Office
- Delegate packages not claimed during the above times, can be picked up at the Registration Desk located at the Roundup Centre, Stampede Park on Monday, May 12th 2008.
Cancellation / Refund Policy
- Cancellations or amendments to registration must be submitted in writing via mail or fax. Phone requests will not be accepted.
- All refund/cancellation requests received on or before 6:00pm (MST), Friday, April 131h 2008 are subject to a 15% cancellation fee.
- All refunds/cancellation requests received after Friday, April 11th 2007and on or before 6:00pm (MST) Friday, April 25tth 2008 will receive 50% of their registration fee.
- Requests for refunds received after Friday, April 25th will be considered on compassionate grounds on a substantiated, case by case basis.
- Badge Reprints: A $10.00 (plus GST) fee will be charged for all registration badge reprint requests.
Substitutions / Transfer of Registration Policy:
- Substitutions/Transfer of Registration must be submitted in writing via mail or fax. Phone requests will not be accepted.
- Substitutions/Transfer of Registration requests must be received on or before midnight (MST) Friday, April 25th 2008 and are subject to a $50.00 administration fee.
- Requests for Substitutions/Transfer of Registrations received after Friday, April 25th 2008 will only be considered on compassionate grounds on a substantiated, case by case basis.
