Wireline Production Logging is an invaluable means in assisting Reservoir and Completion Engineers in understanding the effects of completions and stimulations on a well. Production logging can also be used as a diagnostic tool in checking Cross Flow between zones, packers or sliding sleeves integrity and channels behind casing. This one day course will cover all PL tools available in the industry and specific applications of each tool. Real field log examples will be used to get a clear understanding of the following.
- Injection Analysis – Temperature Isolation Test.
- Injection Analysis – Temperature / Tracer Test.
- Injection Analysis – Temperature / Tracer/ Flow meter Test.
- Production Analysis – Single Phase
- Production Analysis – Dual Phase.
- Production Analysis – Three Phase Flow.
- PL Data LQC.
- Advantage and disadvantage of SRO vs. Memory tools.
- Writing PL Logging program.
- Single Phase Analysis – Hand calculations.
